Introduction of the Joint Symposium
The 1st Tokyo Tech-NCTU Joint Symposium on Advanced Materials is organized by the School of Materials and Chemical Technology at Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech) and the College of Engineering at National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) and will be held from Sept. 2-3, 2019 at Tokyo Institute of Technology in Tokyo Japan. This joint symposium is sponsored by ACS Applied Nano Materials, Laboratory for Materials and Structure at Tokyo Tech, Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology at Tokyo Tech, and the Taiwan Ministry of Education program “Ministry of Education Subsides for Universities and Tertiary Colleges to Develop International Bilateral Programs to Jointly Train World Class Professionals.” Main theme of the Joint Symposium is to provide a platform for the participants from Tokyo Tech and NCTU to exchange ideas and deepen their connections for development of further cooperation.
The plenary session will include Keynote Speeches by Prof. Randall Lee, Deputy Editor of ACS Applied NANO Materials, Prof. Yuji Wada of Tokyo Tech, Prof Kung-Hwa Wei of NCTU, Prof. Hideki Hosoda of Tokyo Tech, Prof. Takanori Fukushima of Tokyo Tech, and nineteen invited speeches and poster presentations on Sept. 2nd. On Sept. 3rd, lab tours will be organized at Ookayama and Suzukakedai campuses of Tokyo Tech.
