Asst. Prof. Ysuke Mizuno, Nakamura Laboratory, FIRST, IIR, received the New Chemical Technology Research Encouragement Award 2017 from the Japan Association for Chemical Innovation (JACI) for his work “Enhanced performance of fiber-optic high-speed distributed sensing for shortened evacuation life after big earthquakes”.
