Job Description	A faculty position at an assistant professor level is available for a highly motivated individual who wants to advance his/her academic career in the field of deep learning in biomedical imaging. We are seeking a researcher who can use his/her knowledge on artificial intelligence, machine learning (including deep learning), and image processing for the following: the development of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies; the applications of AI to image processing, pattern recognition, and image understanding; the applications of AI to medical information processing and diagnosis with medical images; and the research and development of applied AI systems. The successful candidate will work at the Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology (FIRST) and the BioMedical AI Research Unit (BMAI). The successful candidate will engage in supervising graduate students in their research as well as give lectures or oversee a practicum for the students in the Information and Communications Engineering Course and/or Human Centered Science and Biomedical Engineering Course at the School of Engineering.
